Dynalloy Industries offers a robust product line of welding, hardfacing and hardbanding wires. Each product has been specifically formulated to provide Wear Resistance, Corrosion Resistance, Toughness, or other specific characteristics.

ER70S-3 Carbon Steel Welding Wire

ER70S-3 is a premium mild steel solid wire, with silicon and manganese levels suitable
for general purpose welding over clean to light levels of rust and mill scale. ER70S-3
has the flexibility to provide trouble-free performance in heavy-duty, high-speed spray
or pulse applications to lighter duty, lower speed short-arc applications. ER70S-3 is
designed for use with various gas mixtures such as 100% CO2 ,75/25 Ar/CO2 or 98/2
Ar/O2. Even in the most difficult applications ER70S-3 produces a smooth stable arc
with low spatter, producing a weld bead that ties in evenly with the sides and has a
smooth finished appearance.

ER70S-6 Carbon Steel Welding Wire

ER70S-6 is a premium mild steel solid wire formulated to provide high quality welds
and trouble-free performance from heavy duty, high speed, spray transfer applications all
the way to light duty low speed, short-arc applications. ER70S-6 is designed for use with
various gas mixtures such as 100% CO2 ,75/25 Ar/CO2 or 98/2 Ar/O2. Even in the most
difficult applications ER70S-6 produces a smooth stable arc with low spatter, producing a
weld bead that ties in evenly with the sides and has a smooth finished appearance.

PROLONG AR-T

Prolong AR-T is a metal cored, triple deoxidized Iron based wire, alloyed with Chromium and Tungsten. Unlike soft mild steel welding wires, which are commonly used in the embedding process, the microstructure of AR-T is designed to encapsulate and protect the Tungsten Carbide particles from premature erosion. Many of the common embedding wires are solid which require high voltage and amperage setting to achieve a fluid puddle. Prolong AR-T is metal cored and develops a spray transfer at very low current levels.

PROLONG AR-X

Prolong AR-X is a low alloy martensitic steel that offers good abrasion resistance and moderate impact capacity. While ideal for multiple layer hardfacing, the AR-X is not recommended in very high impact applications. The deposit resists relief checking and is also grindable. Prolong AR-X can be used as a final layer over a variety of rebuilding wires.

PROLONG AR-B

Prolong AR-B is an enriched austenitic chromium carbide steel which readily relief checks. Along with having moderate impact strength, it also retains excellent abrasion resistance to both coarse and/or fine particles. With a deposit that is grindable only, it is resistant to heat, corrosion, and high-velocity erosion.

AR-WC45

AR-WC45 is a tungsten carbide, nickel base hardfacing wire designed to resist severe abrasion but unlike traditional tungsten carbide wires, it absorbs more impact without fracturing. This alloy can be applied crack-free with the proper welding procedures. AR-WC45 has very good weldability and a very soft arc, this, in combination with the nickel matrix, reduces weld dilution and carbide dilution to produce truly outstanding multi-wear wires.

Application

Frame fabrication, automotive structures, farm implements, construction equipment,
pressure vessels, pipe fabrication, railcar construction and repair, general fabrication.
Widely used in high-speed robotic and automatic welding applications and semi-
automatic applications.

Application

Prolong AR-B is used as a hardfacing application on mild steel, low alloy steel and manganese steel. It is an excellent final overlay to use over most types of rebuilding wires. Prolong AR-B is also used in several typical applications such as cone crushers, crusher parts, digger teeth, catalyst piping, tool joints, crusher hammers, ore chutes, bucket lips, etc.
